Heroes To Hives

These classes are conducted as a modular monthly course that will be sent to your email address starting on March 15th and then every month on this day through November 15th.  There are also Hands-On training classes conducted at the Maple City VFW Post 2406 in Charlotte, Michigan which goes along with the classes you are being taught on-line.  

This gives the student a chance to not only learn about honeybees but to actually work with live ones too.  The only difference with the hands-on classes is we will be going on field trips to catch swarms, do possibly cut-outs from structures and much more.  We provide all the protection clothing and tools, so you won't have to purchase them for the class unless you want too.

With the Hands-On training we have currently 2 Locations to learn hands-on training. I teach hands-on at the VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids, MI on the 3rd Monday night from 6-9:00 pm starting in February AND, at the Charlotte VFW Post 2406 in Charlotte, MI from 6-9:00 pm on the 3rd Tuesday Night of February and both classes run to October as our last classes.

There we practice on our hives what you learned in your on-line classes and these classes will run through October. This takes the student throughout the entire working days up to Winter. Registration will begin on November 1st - February 28th the following year.
